The compact 62X first stage boasts all the innovative features of Mares sub regulators, such as AST (Auto Sealing Technology), a pneumatic system that protects against water entering the first stage and the highly tested Natural DFC System (Dynamic Flow Control) which guarantees a high and constant air flow at any depth. An excellent sub regulator, light, versatile and with exceptional performance.

The SXS 62X regulator is incredibly compact and lightweight. SXS is the acronym for Second eXtra Small which aims to underline the extreme lightness and compactness of this second stage.
This versatile dispenser is an excellent choice for any side setup. In fact, with a couple of simple operations, the user can easily change the configuration of this dispenser from the right or left side by himself.

FIRST STAGE
Mares has chosen to combine the SXS second stage with the proven 62X first stage, creating one of the most resistant and lightest regulators in the sector. The compact 62X boasts all the innovative features of the Mares regulator, such as AST (Auto Sealing Technology), a pneumatic system that protects against the entry of water into the first stage and the highly tested System with Natural DFC (Dynamic Flow Control) which guarantees a high and constant airflow at any depth.

The main features of the 62X first stage are:
- DFC on all LP releases. High airflow at any depth
- Pre-oriented LP and HP outputs
- AST - first stage with watertight system to avoid water entry
- The Mares diaphragm first stage, lighter and more compact

SECOND STAGE
The Mares SXS second stage is equipped with a curved bypass with increased diameter, which offers high airflow. This unique feature, combined with Mares' patented Vortex Assisted Design (VAD), provides divers with comfortable airflow at any depth.
Mares has also designed a new deflector to optimize the Venturi effect and reduce the risk of self-delivery, ensuring a smoother and more comfortable inhalation effort even at depths greater than 100m.
Also available as octopus. Its thin and compact shape allows the octopus to easily fit into a BC pocket.
